Free for Las Madres members – To participate, consider joining Las Madres, a non-profit organization that provides a network of neighborhood playgroups for those with children born in the same year. Through Las Madres playgroups, members find friendship, support and helpful information as well as an opportunity for their children to make friends their own age.

This is the first session of a 5 part nutritional series.

Session 1: Orientation – Though optional, The Orientation meeting is an essential part of the Bauman Wellness Program, which no participant would want to miss. Participants will get to meet, Jen Oh, the instructor and receive a Bauman Wellness Program Notebook that they can begin reading right away to be fully prepared for the first session, and be introduced to the Diet, Lifestyle and Health Concerns Survey, which will allow them to begin to recognize the relationship between what they are eating, how they are living, and health challenges they are experiencing. In the Orientation, participants will be asked to reflect on their health goals, consider their willingness to make overdue diet and lifestyle improvements, and learn how to make the most of the 4 one-hour sessions that follow.
